Mountain shaped the world. Mountain give life to living organism. Mountain were full of trees, the home of plants and animals. Their massive bulk and height leave us to wonder how this gigantic landscape was molded million of years had passed. Looking at them became our challenge to conquer their territory. It became a refuge of both men and beasts.

There were concessionaires who started tapping the wealth of the mountain rich in minerals, water and forest. People had been in the mountain when hunters started to look for food for their living. Most common panoramic views were of different sizes of terrain, slope, valley, plateau isolated from civilization and the rest of mankind. But civilization of today are started to live with them. They opened land for cultivation. Plantations were everywhere. The owner had vast track of land for their ranches and business.

Some individual that acquired portion of the mountain planted it with corn that grows even to the height of 10,000 feet. So it is not a question of height. People find ways to live a very hazardous environment.

Most mountain animals like llamas, camels and alpacas designed to withstand the hazard in living the mountain. They were borne and raised there and it became their home.

It was evident that early man did not take the mountain for any other reasons except they were driven by necessity due to their hunger. The mountain became the hiding place of people who are against the law. It was their sanctuary for protection and safety.

Can a mountain survive for another thousand years more? No one knows. As population were increasing in magnitude and the space in urban areas were now limited, there are chances that they will go highland and live there.

We just hope we can still find an untouched mountain that will stand alone and looking at us with dignity intact.
