WHEN MEMORY FADES

If our memory started to fade, everything changes. It put us in an embarrassing situation as we cannot even remember the name of our loved ones. Research showed that our neurotransmitter were in short supply. Our brain is an area in the body that causes most of our problem especially if we aged due to some disease. Our brain can no longer function effectively.

We knew that our brain is the most complex  organ of the body. It controls all our body function vital to us. The brain easily affected by any nutritional deficiencies and imbalances.

The deterioration of our  memory is visible when we get something from the kitchen and then suddenly we don’t remember what we need. Even how we tried to recall something. It continues maybe a few seconds or more. There are instances that we cannot remember it anymore. This memory lapses was bothersome as it tends to interfere with our daily activities.

What are some of this causes known to many? Constant use of alcohol, stress-related condition, use of some medication that interfered the function of the brain, infection in the lining of the brain due to major illness, due to nutritional deficiency, head injury from a fall or a blow, or even lack of sleep. But the main cause was due to normal aging. During our younger years, we started losing small portion of our brain cells as the body started making less chemicals. The more we age, the mechanism of our body especially our memory was affected. It slowed down the capacity and ability to normally recall the facts and events of our lives.

Is there a way to prevent it? Yes, partially by keeping our brain active with activities. One way is by reading a book, writing or play games in order to stimulate the brain cells and its connection. Don’t worry and despair.. all of us aged. If  the time comes that  our memory will fade partially or completely,  we have to prepare ourselves with openness because it is already part of our lives. No one lives forever.
