WHAT EARTHQUAKE BRING TO US

Earthquake is the most devastating  disaster most people feared. In just a few minutes it can kill thousand of lives and do great damage to properties. When earthquake started it send seismic waves racing inland, shook the high populated areas in the city collapsing tall buildings. The less fortunate human were under the rubble of concrete debris of steel and cement.

Damages not only confined in the urban areas but to the other side near the epicenter. It was devastating and scary seeing smashed trucks,damaged crops, tore building and resident houses.  Along with the volcanic mudflow, logs, boulders, rock, mud were racing together down below. The volcano expelled gas and ash and other debris when it explodes resulting to major mudflow. The sporadic outbursts from the volcano cause panic and evacuation. Other materials went down to the hill with great speed.

Before the eruption, the volcanic tremor can be felt. Minor earthquakes continued for several days preparatory to its major eruption. As magma and smoke build-up, strong smell of sulfur were noticed. The large volume of magma make the volcano very dangerous.

In the city center, building swayed. Structures began to rock slowly back and forth.The cause of an earthquake was due to slab of oceanic crust ruptured as it thrust beneath the continent’s geologic foundation. Earth’s ever widening sea clad it with tectonic plates  drifting slabs of crust that collide, tug apart, grated by each other, causing almost all the million or more quakes occurred every year.

Prediction of major quakes can’t be determine accurately  when to strikes. There was an improvement now to predict earthquakes but a forecast cannot be relied. If it strike no one is safe under its wing and the result is devastating.
